School Inset

Induction Training for Teachers
 A 2 hour session for tutor teams or whole staff groups which introduces the VisionWorks model in the context of SEAL and PLTS. This session explains the principles behind the programme, how to facilitate and deliver it effectively, and sets out goals and evaluation criteria.

SEAL Inset 
Based on the same 5 key domains of emotional intelligence as SEAL and the 6 groups of skills in the PLTS framework, this inset day introduces the VisionWorks model in context and explains how it works. This session covers key principles for teaching and demonstrating emotionally intelligent behaviour in the classroom and how to apply the PLTS and SEAL skills  to individual subject areas.

 We can design specific inset days with a focus on Emotional Intelligence or Social and Emotional Skills to meet specific training and CPD requirements.

Modular short course for Emotional Literacy
Four sessions for trainee teachers in colleges and universities, for retraining TAs, or for CPD. This interactive short course covers the basic elements of Emotional Literacy and explores ways to bring this vital knowledge into the classroom and staffroom.
